Spring in our Yard

We  are always grillin' now that it is pretty. PC is a "grill-master" apprentice.

daffodils
I love relaxing at the end of the day in the backyard with my guys. It is so fun now that PC like to play games (or throw the ball in the neighbors yard so many times that he has to go to time out! hehe!)

Love Song for a Toddler..

I love that toddlers LOVE buckets, bubbles, flying kites, smelling flowers, picking weeds and making each other laugh. Their little red cheeks after all that are loveable too. PC is playing here  with a sweet little buddy. Isn't it cute that they have boy/girl Red Sox hats? I looked up at one point and they'd stacked their hats on the table just so. It was worth a photo.

Habitat Trip

We visited the Ipswich River Habitat this weekend on the way to the beach. It was gorgeous. There was this great trail that had lots of boardwalks and hiking through and over boulders. PC was loving it. We saw lots of birds, a beaver dam, snakes, chimpmunks, 3 kinds of fish and turtles.

I am too cool for this place

This snake suprised us as it jumped out of the brush right in front of us. Of course we had to check it out.

Beach time

Relaxing in HIS chair..(sometimes he is 2 going on 20). It is finally Spring in our northern town so with temps expected to be over 60 and close to 70 we headed to the beach. PC loves it and didn't want to leave. He was already asking to go back this AM.
Sandcastle building
It was hilarious that most kids had on next to nothing (lot of bathing suits out there) and most adults had on jackets and sweatshirts.
Flying his "kite"-we forgot our kite so he was improvising with this grass stick thing. His imagination is always creating.

Back to the Farm...

Heading to the cows...is he excited or what?

All of the baby sheep and goats were waking up and getting going for the morning. I couldn't get over how cute they were.

This little one was brand-new. She was still in a special pen with her mama and a heat lamp.
PC and Dad checking out the cows in the barn.
YEE HAW!

How tall am I in horse hands??
Trying to close the barn..he actually closed the doors a bit...strong guy
The pigs have the life! PC asked on the way to the farm if they'd have their red ball just like his. He has a great memory.
Petting the pig
Hmm..not sure if that was good idea or not? (Check out those blue eyes-thanks Non!)
Sweet lamb siblings-Below PC is playing this egg matching game that all the kids love..check out his tounge..he sticks it out when concentrating (I promise we cut his hair..it just doesn't always get brushed on the way out the door at 8 on a Saturday!)

Taking Time..

to smell the daffodils..whew-signs of Spring are finally here!

Bike Rider

We went to LL Bean the other weekend and PC fell in love with a big blue bicycle. He wanted to take it home but it was a bit big. However, he could pedal it so we decided it was time for a two-wheeler. So, I found this one on craigslist. He LOVES it! So, he was allowed to ride in the house the first night that we had it. Unfortunately, he took a spill and broke the horn. He didn't shed a tear over falling but was heartbroken over the horn. Thank goodness Target had one little blue horn left the next day.
