A Crib for Ning Ning

Paul & PC put together a crib for "Ning Ning" (this is PC's name for the baby & Paul doesn't like to tell our choice so for now she's Ning Ning!) this weekend. PC is very proud of it and doesn't mind that for now it is in his room.  Curious George and Belmont Bear were even turned into girl babies so that he could see what the baby would look like. 

Captain Bubblebeard

PC loves baths but not getting ready for bed. So, lately we've been using bubble-baths as a bribe. He is really into pirates these days so we pretend that he is captain bubblebeard while he plays with his pirate boat bath toy.

Valentine's Day

I decorated the night before so PC was surprised when he woke up to find all of the goodies.
These were his first ever candy hearts!
Paul is very anti-Valentine's day so I found this card for him-it was so perfect!
I made this calendar for him for work. It was full of PC and Daddy pics.

Pregnancy Shots

We are due with our new little one in May. I pretty much look just like PC in these photos. He is pregnant here with seven stuffed animals. What a hoot!

Mardi Gras

Uncle Matt was so sweet to send us a Mardi Gras package this year. It included a big yummy king cake, coins, and Mardi Gras beads. PC was so excited when it came and has played with the "money" and "necklaces" ever since. Paul and I hope to make it back down to New Orleans for another Mardi Gras sometime soon?! We hope that Uncle Matt will show us a good time now that he knows the ropes!

Guy Stuff...

PC and Paul have been spending lots of "guy time" together lately so that I can rest. Paul took him to do one of the kid's projects at Home Depot the other day. It was so cute and PC was so proud of his bird house rain gauge. The kids all recieved aprons, saftey glasses, the bird house kit and a paint set. I couldn't believe it was free! I found out about it from the website:  www.northerncheapskate.com . I've been finding other great info about kid's stuff lately on www.babycheapskate.com and www.swaggrabber.com.
