Staycation Weekend...

Pretending in the PC sized train
Here comes our train for the ride

The loft in the caboose which is where we rode
Checking out the tickets
The engine for our train
Blowing his train whistle
Jon & Caroline at the lighthouse in Cape Elizabeth, ME

We took a tiny hike down to the water. It was cold and crystal clear. The lobster bouys were just out from us and lobster boats were chugging by us.

Checking out the rocks and tidal pools that were full of seaweed and shells/snails

We went up to Portland, ME this weekend to meet-up with Jon & Caroline. We had a great trip. We went to the Maine Narrow Gauge Railroad Museum and took a ride on one of the trains. PC loved it and asked to go back today. Jon & Caroline were great hosts and showed us around Portland and then took us to Cape Elizabeth which was beautiful. Thanks Jon & Caroline! We spent the day at the beach on Sunday. It was perfect weather and PC unlike his Mom loves to jump in the water.

Ok so I was pretty sure that a "staycation" is when you didn't actually leave your hometown. Am I wrong?
Looked fun. I have airplane vouchers and i am dying to come see you!
